Travelling Trends Fashion Show Do you need a few new separates to liven up your wardrobe?  Would you like them at Bargain Prices?  Come along to this Parish event and enjoy an evening of fashion and fun!  This is your chance to see, try on, and buy this season’s fashions at greatly reduced prices, and help to raise funds for the Cranleigh Parish Meeting Room.  The event will start from 7.15pm on Monday 12th June at the St Cuthbert Mayne School.  Tickets are £6.00 which include a drink and nibbles and tickets can be bought from the Parish Office or Georgie Nel or Susanna Page.  This hopes to be a lively fun evening with a Tombola and two opportunities for stalls to be purchased.

Spend a day aboard a 31foot sailing boat based in Chichester harbour and just make a donation to the talents fund in return. (Whatever you feel is appropriate).

I can take three people approx but this can be a bit flexible depending on whether its all adults or a combination of adults and children. You can confine your day to the confines of Chichester harbour where you can sail in relatively flat water or if you want to be more adventurous you can sail The Solent nearby. Your food will be provided and you can choose what you would like to eat.

Please contact Pat Scully on 07796016696 or 01483277913, or email if you think it is for you.  Kind regards,  Pat Scully

We are currently in need of a volunteer driver or drivers to help bring some of our senior citizens to mass, either for Sunday 1100am or Saturday 1800 as we have lost one of our drivers.

At the moment it would involve collecting up to three ladies from Elmbridge Village and taking them to the mass of the drivers choice as the ladies are very flexible. This would be once every four weeks at most depending on how many volunteers we have.

Please contact Pat Scully on 01483 277913 or 07796016696, or email if you would be happy to carry out this task.

Many thanks, Pat.

“About 25 ladies of the Parish had a marvellous evening at our latest CAMEO event on Tuesday learning about and trying out essential oils for health and wellbeing.  We tried pure orange, lemon and lime in water – most refreshing and more interesting than plain water; learnt about the king of essential oils, Frankincense, and its extensive healing properties; tried a balm for aches and pain – very good for arthritic joints; and benefited from a general introduction to lots of other essential oils.  We enjoyed houmous with lemon oil and seeds as well as homemade guacamole with cumin and lime oils.  Finally, strawberries dipped in dark chocolate infused with peppermint oil.  Delicious and healthy too.  Thank you to Charlotte Hunter for organising the event and to Kim Hale (a doTERRA essential oils Wellness Advocate, an Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner and a Reiki Master amongst other things) for giving us such a marvellous evening.”

The next event will take place at the Cranleigh Parish Meeting Room on Tuesday 30th May at 7.30pm.   This is going to be an evening of sharing memories and reminiscing.    Katherine Bergin and Veronica Motchman will be hosting and invite you along to have an evening of refreshments and good stories.

“CAMEO is a group open to all the ladies in the Parish.  It hosts an event about once a month and you can come along to as many or as few as you like.  If you need a lift, just contact the event organiser.  We do hope to see you there soon.”
