Special Collection for Day of Life next Sunday

Coffee-cake.pngThe next coffee morning will take place on Tuesday 11th June at 10.30am in the Cranleigh Parish Meeting Room – all are welcome.

Pentecost Family Day:  Sunday 9th June at St John’s Seminary, Wonersh.  Please attend Mass in our parish and then feel free to bring a picnic lunch for 12.30 or join in the activities at 1.00pm.  There will be tours of the seminary and talks led by the seminarians/stalls exploring the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, games and face painting.  The day will conclude with tea and a Pentecostal procession where the Bishop will send us all out filled with joy.  This is a day suitable for all ages.  Please do let know if you are able to join us for catering purposes or tel: 01293 651152.

Extending The Parish Family

Want to get involved? Our first volunteer workshop is on Saturday 15th June from 10am to about 2.30pm at the Seminary.  We will explain what each team is responsible for and help you identify where best you might enjoy working with us. If you have not received your own invitation yet, don’t worry, please come along and join in. Contact for more details or to let us know if you’d like to come.

Please keep our volunteers in your prayers as they start on their own unique journey.

Parish Coach Trip to Cowdray Park on 16th July departing Cranleigh 2pm for a visit to the tea room and walled garden and will depart Cowdray at 5pm.  Please sign up using the Parish website events page or let the Parish office know that you would like to attend.

A Craft Sale is being planned on Sunday 7th July after Mass at Cranleigh. Please let the Parish Office know if you would like to have a table allocated for your use.

This Thursday (13th) at 7.30pm sees the second ENCOUNTER evening in Woking. Don’t worry, you can still come if you didn’t make the first one. Everyone is welcome, and it’s a great way to make friends and explore your faith. There is food, music, prayer, and a bit of input. See you there!

You are warmly invited to a presentation of the tenth, and final episode of ‘Catholicism – a journey to the heart of the faith’, by the acclaimed author and speaker Bishop Robert Barron, on Saturday June the 15th, 2019. This is a Chilworth Abbey Study Day given by Fr John Seddon OSB, who will contextualise the episode and then teach and lead discussion about its subject matter. The day begins with Mass at 9.00 am, followed by coffee. The tenth film investigates World without End: The Last Things. which will be shown, chapter by chapter followed by teaching and discussion. Midday prayer and lunch will divide the day which concludes at 4.00 pm. Come to part, or all of the day, as it suits you. Bring a packed lunch and if you can, a friend. Tea and coffee is provided.
