Thank you to John Federer, who is retiring as Chair of the Finance Committee and welcome to Robert Millar who is taking over the role with immediate effect.  Married to Anne, they live in Cranleigh but are familiar to many people who might have had a connection with the Friary or the Franciscans in general.  Robert spearheaded the Parish Funding drive in 2014 which resulted in Diocesan approval to fund the new Parish Meeting Room at Cranleigh.  A significant amount of the funding by Parishioners’ Standing Orders is playing a major part in the repayment today.

This Lent we will again be running a Talents Scheme in aid of the Cranleigh Parish Room fund.   Our wonderful Parish Room is already enriching our lives together – but it still needs paying for.

To support this project, we are asking you to take the £10 gift offered to you under the Talents Scheme and then multiply it, through your own talents, and donate the money raised back to the project, handing it in on or before the Feast of Pentecost which falls on Sunday 9th June.

Leg of Lamb raffle tickets are on sale at the weekend Masses £1 per ticket or £5 for 6 tickets

CAMEO – the next event will take place at 7.30pm in the Cranleigh lady chapel on Tuesday 5th March , Katherine Bergin will be providing pancakes and prayer.  Please let the Parish office know if you will attend for catering purposes.   The cameo evenings are open to ladies of the parish of all age groups and is a time for prayerful reflection and socialising.     The next CAMEO event will take place on Tuesday 2nd April. There may be a flower arranging display organised so please pencil this date and await further details.
