2nd Sunday of Easter – 28.04.19
Mary’s Month of May – let’s keep Mary’s Month with extra devotions to Our Lady – can somebody organise a Rosary Prayer Group please?
To so many people who, working together, have made it possible for us to celebrate a phenomenal Holy Week and Easter. It truly was a team effort and shows what can happen when many contribute towards our worship and celebrations. I was very moved by many of our liturgies and by the way in which people participated. I think, from what people have said to me that you were too.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have sent me cards and gifts for Easter. You really are very thoughtful and generous, and it is much appreciated here in the Presbytery by all concerned. With thanks from Fr David
At the end of mass on Sunday and throughout Easter we will sing the Regina Caeli (in English) as follows:
Joy to thee, O Queen of Heaven. Alleluia!
He whom Thou wast meet to bear.
As He promised hath arisen. Alleluia!
Pour for us to God thy prayer. Alleluia!
- Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
- For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray.
O God, who through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, didst vouchsafe to give joy to the world; grant, we beseech Thee, that through His Mother, the Virgin Mary, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

We are appealing for your support for this initiative once again. We ask most importantly for your prayers. Secondly please let us know if you have a holiday place or any accommodation that you would be happy for somebody to use for part of the holidays. Last of all we would appreciate any financial support you can offer. If you would like to donate any funds directly to the Parish bank account, details can be obtained from the Parish Office. Please make sure that you specify the purpose of your donation as a “Holiday Fund”. Contact: email@example.com
