Would you be interested in becoming a CAFOD School Volunteer?
You will have the opportunity to bring Catholic social teaching to the next generation, be part of a global movement building a fairer world, inspire young people to get involved and help make an impact on future generations.
School Volunteers are invited by Catholic primary or secondary schools to deliver lively and motivating presentations about CAFOD’s work and mission in assemblies and classrooms. CAFOD will provide training, support and the materials needed to deliver the presentations.
Teaching experience is not a prerequisite, simply the ability to communicate effectively with children and young people. Volunteers find this experience satisfying and enjoyable as children, young people and staff of schools are welcoming, enthusiastic and appreciative of visits.
As a School Volunteer you will be part of a team and a friendly network of people with shared values and commitments. You will have the opportunity to gain experience of working in the voluntary sector and expand your skills set.
